Yacht Rock Revue turned a bit into a touring business, and it is the rare tribute act that books rooms this size on its own name. The band plays the late-70s FM canon, Hall and Oates through Steely Dan, with full-band precision rather than a wink.
The draw is partly the crowd. Captain’s hats and boat shoes show up in numbers, which makes a Mission Ballroom floor feel closer to a costume party than a concert. Saturday night in RiNo helps.
