Four Mile Historic Park holds the oldest standing structure in Denver, and after dark it turns into a walk-through lantern festival. Bright Nights strings illuminated sculptures along the park's paths, and the 2026 edition shrinks visitors to the size of a Four Mile honeybee, moving from oversized wildflowers and insects through African wildlife and ocean scenes.
The run goes Wednesdays through Sundays, August 8 through November 8, 7 to 11 PM, on the historic park grounds near Cherry Creek in southeast Denver. That is a three-month window, so there is no reason to fight for a Saturday slot.
