The Denver Museum of Nature & Science gives Mesa Verde top billing in Changing Landscapes, an immersive exhibition that places Colorado’s cliff dwellings alongside Venice and Rapa Nui to show how climate change is reshaping three UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Researchers used photogrammetry to build accurate three-dimensional models of each site, projected at large scale, with hands-on activities like digital rock-art tracing and a game about protecting storefronts from flooding.
The show is included with museum admission and runs through January 3, 2027. The museum borders City Park with its own lot off Colorado Boulevard and a stop on the bus lines that serve the park.
