Meet Author Colson Whitehead: The One Book One Denver Author Talk

Colson Whitehead is one of only a handful of novelists to win the Pulitzer Prize for fiction twice, for 'The Underground Railroad' in 2017 and 'The Nickel Boys' in 2020, and writers at that level rarely take a single-night Denver booking. MCA Denver lists this talk as the culminating event of Denver Public Library's 2026 One Book One Denver season, the citywide program that asks the whole city to read the same book.
The talk is at MCA Denver's Holiday Theater, the museum's second venue at 2644 W. 32nd Ave. in Highland. It is a small room by author-tour standards, which is the draw here and also the reason tickets to library-backed author nights in Denver tend to move quickly.
