Denver's Scientific and Cultural Facilities District tax pays for a handful of free days at the Denver Art Museum each year, and September 12, 2026 is one of them. General admission costs nothing that day, which is the cheapest way into a museum that usually charges adults to walk in.
Free days pull crowds, so arrive early or late, and check the museum site first because timed entry tickets are often required and ticketed special exhibitions can still charge. The museum is in the Golden Triangle at 100 W 14th Ave Pkwy, with paid parking in the Cultural Center garage.
