Denver's flagship film event returns for its 49th year with a slate of more than 140 features and shorts and dozens of visiting filmmakers, making it the deepest two weeks on the city's screen calendar. Opening night anchors at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House before the festival settles into Sie FilmCenter for its run.
Individual tickets and multi-film passes both sell, so a casual viewer and a binge-watcher can each find a fit. The schedule spans October 22 through November 1.
