The People’s Building on East Colfax keeps handing its stage to Aurora’s own companies rather than importing a tour, and this is Apex Performing Arts Collective’s December slot: the shortened Junior version of The Little Mermaid, performed by a cast of young actors.
Four performances over three days. Thursday December 4 at 6 PM, Friday December 5 at 1 PM and 6 PM, and Sunday December 6 at 1 PM. The venue bills it for audiences of all ages, and the Junior editions run around an hour, which is the practical reason to pick this over a full-length holiday show if you are bringing small kids.
