Mercury Cafe's swing dance scene is a Denver institution in its own right, and this touring pop-up carries that culture out to Aurora for an afternoon. Mercury Cafe on Tour brings live jazz and swing dancing to Stanley Marketplace on Saturday, October 17 from 3 to 6 PM, with the venue's listing promising live jazz, swing dancing, and good company.
No band or caller is named in the listing, so this reads as a social dance afternoon rather than a ticketed concert. It runs the same day as Stanley Marketplace's Old School Cool Vintage Market, giving visitors a reason to make a full day of the east Aurora venue, which offers free on-site parking.
