Rob Reiner's Stephen King adaptation earns its CO150 slot on the "about Colorado" count: the novel and film are set in the fictional town of Silver Creek, Colorado, where novelist Paul Sheldon crashes his car into the path of his self-described number-one fan.
This is a one-night theatrical screening at MCA Denver's Holiday Theater, distinct from the stage adaptation of "Misery" already running at the Arvada Center. Same title, different medium and venue.
