The Room at The Bug Theatre

The Room is beloved for all the wrong reasons, and the Bug is exactly the room for it: a 1912 nickelodeon house on Navajo Street that has spent decades as the north Denver home for the stuff no multiplex would book. Two nights only, both at 11 PM.

This is the full participation version, not a quiet repertory screening. The theater tells people to bring spoons and throw them at the framed spoon photos on screen, yell the lines back, and bring their own props. The one hard rule posted with the tickets is no glitter.

Tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door, doors at 10:30 PM for an 11 PM start, running until about 1 AM. The film is rated R and the box office lists it as 17 and up, with under 17 admitted alongside a parent or guardian. Navajo Street parking is street-only and the block is residential, so leave a few minutes for it.
