Drag Decades has run monthly for 11 years, which is its own argument for showing up, longevity that rare in Denver nightlife. Host Shirley Delta Blow builds each edition as a walk through queer history by era, in costume and song.
The summer run hits first Fridays: July 3, August 7, and September 4, with a 7 PM start. The format leans more narrative than a standard drag revue, so it plays as a show rather than a club night.
Clocktower Cabaret is downtown at 16th and Arapahoe, in the basement of the Daniels and Fisher Tower. It is 21 and up with table seating.
