Colorado turns 150 and Denver Film answers with a run of movies made in the state, about the state, or by people from it. The Holiday Theater leg is the one worth planning around, because the opening slate is genuine canon rather than local-interest filler.
Three Sundays are confirmed on MCA Denver’s calendar: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid on September 6, Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead on September 13, and BlacKkKlansman on September 20. Denver Film programs the series and MCA Denver runs the room.

The Holiday Theater is MCA Denver’s Highland movie house at 2644 W 32nd Ave, a restored single screen just off 32nd Avenue where street parking fills early on weekend nights. Each screening is ticketed separately, so buy per film rather than per series.
