Fall at Chatfield Farms means a 7-acre corn maze cut into the working farmland, a low-key alternative to the big commercial pumpkin patches. It opens September 19 and runs into early November.
Daytime hours run 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the maze, farm animals and pumpkins on the Denver Botanic Gardens property off Deer Creek Canyon Road in Littleton. Tickets are timed and sell in advance; weekends fill fastest in October.
