The Midsummer Arts Festival is the smaller, free counterpart to Denver's big-ticket art fairs, and its draw is access: a full block of East 8th Place, closed from Colorado Boulevard to Bellaire Street, given over to working artists you can meet and buy from without a wristband.
Run by Artisan Markets, the 2026 fair lands Saturday, August 1 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, August 2 from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The lineup runs to painters, jewelers, ceramicists, and other local makers set up along the street.
Admission is free. The site sits just east of the Cherry Creek shopping district, so plan on garage or side-street parking off Colorado Boulevard rather than a spot on the closed block.
