The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is a full-day stop on a normal visit, and on August 24, 2026 the general admission is free. Free days here fill the City Park institution with families working through the dinosaurs, gems, and the Space Odyssey hall.
The free day covers general admission only. IMAX films and planetarium shows, including the summer laser series, still cost extra.
Reserve a timed free-admission ticket online ahead of the day, since walk-up capacity is limited. The museum is in City Park with paid on-site parking and an RTD stop nearby.
