Westminster kicks off the holiday season the old-fashioned way: a free evening market with local craft and gift makers, live performances and caroling, building toward a tree-lighting ceremony that closes the night rather than opening it. The city's 2026 calendar confirms the date as Nov. 21, running 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Admission is free and no ticket is required. The event runs at Central Plaza Park, 5845 W. 89th Ave. in downtown Westminster, with Santa making an appearance during the afternoon.
