Drag storytime has become one of the more contested pieces of public programming in Colorado, which makes a plainly billed family afternoon at Stanley Marketplace worth flagging. Host Alice Glamoure reads stories and runs drag bingo in the old aviation hall's common area, out in the open alongside the building's shops and bars.
The event runs Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM and is described by Stanley as family-friendly. It sits in the common area rather than a ticketed room, so the marketplace's restaurants and tenants stay part of the afternoon.
Stanley Marketplace is in northwest Aurora on the Central Park line, a short hop from Denver's east side. Check the venue's event page for any registration or seating details before you go.
