Lakewood's 40 West Arts District, a state-certified creative district along West Colfax, opens its galleries late for First Friday on September 4. The walk runs 5 to 9 PM and is free, with member galleries, studios, and pop-up art stops within a few blocks of each other.
First Fridays repeat monthly through the fall: October 2, November 6, and December 4 follow this one. It is the west metro's most reliable free culture night.
