There is no more fitting place to spend Colorado's 150th birthday than the state's own history museum, and History Colorado opens its doors free on August 1.
The Center's exhibitions trace Colorado from its Indigenous nations through statehood in 1876, and the 150th anniversary carries extra signature programming this year. The museum sits at 1200 Broadway in the Golden Triangle.
