Ellen Greene played Audrey off-Broadway and then again in Frank Oz’s 1986 film, and the announcement bills her Denver appearance as a rare one. She hosts a 40th anniversary screening of the movie at the Paramount on September 23, for one night.
Paramount Theatre, Comedy Works, and Denver Film are presenting it together. The screening starts at 8 PM at the Paramount, the 1930 movie palace on Glenarm Place downtown, which is a considerably better room for a man-eating plant than a multiplex.
