Mixed Taste is MCA Denver's signature format: two experts give short talks on deliberately mismatched subjects, then take questions together, with no crossover allowed until the Q&A. This installment pairs Denver's largely erased 19th-century Chinatown, once centered near Wazee and 20th, with the mechanics and history of breakdancing.
Wednesday, August 12 at 7 PM at the Holiday Theater in Highland. Free to attend, but the room is small and MCA's free nights fill, so reserve a spot ahead rather than walking up.
