Golden's Movies in the Park pairs a free outdoor film with a live band beforehand, a simple, genuinely free summer night out a short drive from Denver. The July 10 screening is Balto with Atomic Jones Band; the August 7 screening is Lilo & Stitch with The Beloved Invaders.
Music starts the evening and the film rolls at dusk, so plan to arrive around 7 PM for a good patch of grass. Bring blankets and low chairs; Parfet Park is in walkable downtown Golden with street parking nearby.
