Murray Hill: SHOWBIZ! at Clocktower Cabaret

Murray Hill spent decades as a downtown New York drag king and variety host before HBO's Somebody Somewhere put the act in front of a national audience, and this tour is the version of that career told on purpose: a cabaret comedy set built around the memoir SHOWBIZ! My Life as a Middle-Aged Man, published by Simon and Schuster.

The touring show carries a live band billed as Baloney Sandwiches, which puts it closer to a variety broadcast than a book reading. VIP tiers add a meet and greet, a photo, and a book signing. It is the kind of national booking Clocktower lands a few times a year rather than a house production.
