A one-woman show about the things people never say out loud is a hard sell on a Thursday, which is exactly why it is worth knowing about. Joanna Rannelli wrote and performs Private Parts: The Secrets We Keep, directed by Kerry Ipema, and it sold out runs in Vancouver, Calgary, and Coquitlam before landing in Denver.

The Bug Theatre at 3654 Navajo Street has been the Highlands' home for this kind of work for decades, and the room is small enough that a solo performer does not need amplification to land a line. Yeah No Yeah Productions presents.

Apr 18 - Sep 7 · Denver Botanic Gardens

Doors are Thursday, August 27 at 7 PM with a 9:30 finish. The show is 14 and up: it deals with sexual assault, death, and adult language, so it is not a bring-the-kids night. Ticket price is not posted on the venue calendar, so buy through the Humanitix link.
