Denver drag takes on the swamp: Mario Wanna L'Whor plays Shrek, Gila Moonstar is Fiona, Bootzy Edward Collins is Donkey, and Talia Tucker L'Whor rules as Lord Farquaad, with Mother Daddy doubling as Dragon and the Gingerbread Man. Santana Trujillo choreographs. MCA Denver hosts the one-night parody at its Holiday Theater in Highland.
The show runs 7 to 9 PM with doors at 6, ages 18 and up. Tickets start at about $28 after fees, and the theater has free parking, which in Highland counts as its own plot twist.
