An Evening with Holocaust Survivor Sora Vigorito

When
Thu, Oct 22 · 7 PM
Where
Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, Arvada
Price
$30 general admission, $125 VIP

The number of people who can describe Auschwitz from memory is now small enough to count, and Sora Vigorito is one of them. She and her twin sister Hanna were among 89 pairs of identical twins that the Nazi doctor Josef Mengele selected for experiments. Hanna did not survive. Vigorito went on to direct an Emmy-winning documentary about what happened to them.

The Arvada Center is staging this on the Main Stage Theatre rather than in a classroom, and presenting it with Chabad of NW Metro Denver. The evening is built around her firsthand account and how she has carried it since, which is a different thing from a history lecture.

General admission is $30. The $125 VIP ticket adds premium seating and a reception afterward with refreshments and a meet and greet. The Arvada Center sits at 6901 Wadsworth Boulevard with free on-site parking, and the Main Stage is the large room, so seats at the $30 tier still see the stage well.
