Walk the Chalk
- When
- Sat, Sep 5
- Where
- Historic Downtown Littleton, Littleton
- Price
- Free
Chalk festivals live or die on whether the art is any good, and Littleton solves that by putting professional artists on the same sidewalk as anyone who wants to claim a square and start drawing. Main Street through the historic downtown becomes the surface for a day, and walking it costs nothing.
Downtown Littleton lists live music, interactive activities for kids, and pop-up stations alongside the chalk work, and calls the whole thing family friendly. The event runs its own account at @walk_the_chalk_littleton, which is where hour by hour details and artist calls get posted ahead of the date.

Jaume Plensa: A New Humanism at Denver Botanic Gardens
Apr 18 - Sep 7 · Denver Botanic Gardens
Main Street is two blocks from the Downtown Littleton light rail station, which makes this one of the few south metro street events you can reach without parking. Chalk does not survive rain, so check that account before driving down if the September forecast turns.
