Wax Trax has been Denver's punk and indie record landmark since the 1980s, so a new storefront is a real expansion rather than another vinyl shop opening its doors.
The Stanley Marketplace location celebrates with a grand opening party from 10 AM to 9 PM on July 18: live music, vinyl on the shelves, and giveaways run through the day.
It's free to attend at 2501 Dallas Street in Aurora, inside the marketplace's hall of independent shops in the former aviation factory.
