The north metro gets its own free fall festival, and it is one of Thornton's most established community days. Thornton Harvest Fest returns to Thornton Community Park on October 3, running 10 AM to 5 PM with the pumpkins, activities, food, and local booths that draw families from across the north suburbs.
This is a city-run event built for the neighborhood rather than a regional draw, which is exactly why it rarely shows up on Denver event lists.
